Rainier Marketing, Inc. - RMI is a Washington based company previously known as Mechatronics Inc., a PNW Manufacturers's Representative founded in 1979 by Edward P. Knopf, which was acquired in its entirety by Greg Todd, President of RMI on October 1, 1993. Under the previous company name of Mechatronics Inc., and since the startup of RMI in 1993, some of the principles have been represented for over fifteen years. Prior to joining and acquiring the Mechatronics Inc. PNW Rep. Group, Greg Todd primarily designed in and sold electro-mechanical products to OEM's located in the Pacific Northwest over the past 25 years since leaving the Boeing company in 1979. His primary focus is selling to OEM's such as the Boeing Company, Panasonic, Fluke Electronics, Medtronics, Honeywell, Phillips Medical, Intermec, Zetec, Paccar and others. Bill Leavitt joined RMI in June of 2002. Prior to joining RMI, Bill Leavitt was the Regional Sales Manager for Cristek Interconnects, a manufacturer of specialized connectors. His primary focus is heading up our sales and marketing activities in Oregon, Southern Washington and Southern Idaho. Bill's primary focus is selling to OEM's such as Freightliner, Tektronix, PSC Scanning, CD Technologies and others. Carrie Crane joined RMI in November of 2005 and is responsible for all Inside Sales/Outside Sales and Customer Service activities. Carrie has a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of Phoenix and has an extensive background in sales and customer service. As with Mechatronics Inc., our goal is to concentrate on representing World Class Manufacturer's that provide "strategic products" to OEM's located in the Pacific Northwest.
